In the 2nd minute, Sajeev Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th match minute, Woodlesfored was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Teo to maneuver through the defense. Mangotsfield were furious when Gage Teo was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 7 played minutes Mangotsfield got a freekick which was hit by Gage Teo. Hafriz Hian, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alex Lim was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Sarb Gopala Pillai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sarb Gopala Pillai really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarb Gopala Pillai in the 16th minute of play forced Mangotsfield's goalkeeper Alex Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jonathan Teo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Woodlesfored's Jonathan Teo got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jonathan Chandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodlesfored's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Chandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Lim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's goalkeeper Alex Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Chuan. Iskandar Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Lum in the 35th minute of the match. Adam Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Iskandar Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iskandar Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Lum in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Jonathan Chandran made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Adam Lum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangotsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Lum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iskandar Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mangotsfield's Ang Lum got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Adam Lum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iskandar Tan was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Adam Lum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Lim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Chandran's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Sarb Gopala Pillai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodlesfored's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangotsfield the free kick. The supporters of Mangotsfield booed when Woodlesfored was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarb Gopala Pillai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Lum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iskandar Tan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Mujahid Leng hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Adam Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Iskandar Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Adam Lum got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
