Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Plumpton Green United's Rifki Kang started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Victor Hian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plumpton Green United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Iskandar Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifki Kang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plumpton Green United's goalkeeper Alexander Lee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afiz Gopala Pillai charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afiz Gopala Pillai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Woodlesfored was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afiz Gopala Pillai to maneuver through the defense. If Victor Hian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plumpton Green United's Rifki Kang got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Plumpton Green United's Rifki Kang was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Iskandar Tan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Siang went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Rifki Kang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iskandar Tan made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Victor Hian sent off a good shot on target. Iskandar Tan was a little too slow when Rifki Kang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. Rifki Kang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Victor Hian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plumpton Green United's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Hian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iskandar Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Afiz Gopala Pillai was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th minute of the match Bryan Lim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iskandar Tan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Victor Hian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iskandar Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Woodlesfored's zone, Victor Hian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iskandar Tan came out of the goal and Victor Hian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifki Kang in the 74th minute of play forced Woodlesfored's goalkeeper Iskandar Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Hian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hafriz Hian fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodlesfored's protests and gave Hafriz Hian a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Plumpton Green United booed when Woodlesfored was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hafriz Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Chuan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Woodlesfored's Arif Chuan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 87 played minutes Plumpton Green United got a freekick which was hit by Gage Nair. In the 94th minute Woodlesfored were awarded a corner. Hafriz Hian went to the cornerflag to take it. Iskandar Tan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifki Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Rifki Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plumpton Green United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
