An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahron Ching in the 8th minute of play forced Hexham United's goalkeeper Amir Dyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Felix Hee notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sudbury AFC's Khairil Seng. Khairil Seng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sean Namasivayam kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Shahron Ching sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Amir Dyce threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Shahron Ching this time. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dale Lim during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sudbury AFC booed when Hexham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Lim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Shahron Ching came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sudbury AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shahron Ching couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Ryan Tian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Hexham United's Amir Dyce got control of the ball when Steven Boon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steven Boon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amir Dyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes, Felix Hee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hexham United and the Sudbury AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sudbury AFC's Steven Boon got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afiz Yeo's late challenge caught a Sudbury AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afiz Yeo helped the player get up and apologised. If Shahron Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Shahron Ching notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hexham United's Amir Dyce. Amir Dyce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sudbury AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
