Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Prime Ning got the match started through his kick off. Alex Lim came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Spitalfields and Shoreditch's Wong Chee. But to his dismay, Wong Chee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mangotsfield were furious when Ang Lum was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Spitalfields and Shoreditch. Wong Chee stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alex Lim. 0-3. Bineesh Hui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Azam Tan went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute Adam Lum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bineesh Hui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haziq Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Alex Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prime Ning in the 31st minute of the match. Alex Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Braddell in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Haziq Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haziq Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mangotsfield's zone, Prime Ning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Lim came out of the goal and Prime Ning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prime Ning in the 44th minute of play. Alex Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haziq Tioe in the 45th minute of the match. Alex Lim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prime Ning's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Spitalfields and Shoreditch were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Lum was the one to do the kick off. The Spitalfields and Shoreditch fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Spitalfields and Shoreditch's Sajeev Braddell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Azam Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bineesh Hui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mangotsfield's attentive Haziq Chuan managed to snatch the ball when Rifqi Chong made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Alex Lim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wong Chee in the 66th minute. Prime Ning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Spitalfields and Shoreditch got a freekick which was hit by Haziq Tioe. 80 minutes into the match, Wong Chee notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Mangotsfield's Alex Lim. Alex Lim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Adam Lum notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Spitalfields and Shoreditch's Bineesh Hui. Bineesh Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azam Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Spitalfields and Shoreditch supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spitalfields and Shoreditch would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
