Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark Seng took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Sudbury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Steven Boon. In the 4th minute, Bovingdon's Mark Seng ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Khairil Seng. Khairil Seng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Bovingdon getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ali Nagasaki hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes, Sudbury AFC's Shahron Ching shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darren Seng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sudbury AFC reached it. 10 minutes into the game, Sudbury AFC's Shahron Ching nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darren Seng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lamar Yeo scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darren Seng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st match minute, Bovingdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Choo to maneuver through the defense. Khairil Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Seng in the 25th minute of the match. When Faiz Singh fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sudbury AFC's protests and gave Faiz Singh a yellow card for diving instead. Faiz Singh kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Bovingdon got a freekick which was hit by Alif Hock. Darren Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Boon in the 35th minute of play forced Bovingdon's goalkeeper Darren Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shahron Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alif Hock got free with Khairil Seng in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The goalkeeper, Khairil Seng, was totally fooled by Bovingdon's Ali Nagasaki, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 47 played minutes Bovingdon got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nagasaki. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shahron Ching to strike the kick off in the second half. Darren Seng was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Shahron Ching capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shahron Ching really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After recieving a nice pass, Bovingdon's Ali Nagasaki tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Khairil Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bovingdon's Darren Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shahron Ching in the 59th minute of play. When Steven Boon came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sudbury AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Boon couldn't finish the play. Khairil Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Seng in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sudbury AFC's Ron Devan got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ali Nagasaki succeeded in the game's 67th minute to get real power on a long shot . Sudbury AFC's Khairil Seng hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 3-3! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Hee during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Hee hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Khairil Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alif Hock in the 73rd minute of the match. With his leg Darren Seng managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Sudbury AFC's Steven Boon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Khairil Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alif Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alif Hock in the 85th minute of play forced Sudbury AFC's goalkeeper Khairil Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Faizal Hong took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Darren Seng to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alif Hock in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khairil Seng saved Sudbury AFC from getting behind. Darren Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Yeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Shahron Ching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sudbury AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sudbury AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
