Spitalfields and Shoreditch's Bineesh Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alif Tan in the 23rd minute of play. Bineesh Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alif Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Alif Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spitalfields and Shoreditch's Bineesh Hui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Khairil Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wong Chee in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Spitalfields and Shoreditch booed when Sudbury AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faiz Singh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Faiz Yi-Sheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Namasivayam during the 36th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prime Ning stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamar Yeo in the 52nd minute of play forced Spitalfields and Shoreditch's goalkeeper Bineesh Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sudbury AFC's Alif Tan got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Alif Tan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0.
