Albert Braddell's late challenge caught a Dartsmouth United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Braddell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Albert Braddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th match minute, Williton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Braddell to maneuver through the defense. Dale Lee made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gabriel Nagasaki sent off a good shot on target. Hamir Hock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Chew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rudy Chew came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Williton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Chew couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Nagasaki took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dale Lee. Dale Lee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rudy Chew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dale Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shafiq Phua in the 37th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shafiq Phua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Shafiq Phua, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dale Lee was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Williton's Hamir Hock threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rudy Chew, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabriel Nagasaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dale Lee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dale Lee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shafiq Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shafiq Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danial Cheng in the 79th minute of the match. If Shafiq Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Williton's Hamir Hock threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rudy Chew, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Chian was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hamir Hock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Chew in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Shafiq Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dartsmouth United's supporters rose to their feet, but Shafiq Phua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Lee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Williton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
