Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudy Chew kicked off to start the match. Darren Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Lee made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Tan Shiong sent off a good shot on target. When Lewes's Darren Lum in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Williton's goalie prevented a goal. Tan Shiong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dale Lee made a huge save. Albert Braddell hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Williton getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rudy Chew hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lewes's zone, Rudy Chew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prime Namasivayam came out of the goal and Rudy Chew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Williton's Lamar Koh got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Williton's zone, Tan Shiong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Lee came out of the goal and Tan Shiong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Williton's Dale Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Williton from getting a goal against them. Tan Shiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dale Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tan Shiong in the 52nd minute of play. Dale Lee came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Lewes's Darren Lum. But to his dismay, Darren Lum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Lum in the 60th minute of play forced Williton's goalkeeper Dale Lee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Williton's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Shiong came free, but Dale Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Braddell hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tan Shiong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Lee having to make a save. Dale Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Lum, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rudy Chew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Felix Yang fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lewes's protests and gave Felix Yang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Lewes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Yang to maneuver through the defense. Dale Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tan Shiong in the 82nd minute of the match. Darren Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dale Lee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Lewes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ong Braddell to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Rudy Chew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudy Chew might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prime Namasivayam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudy Chew ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lewes had played much better football throughout.
