Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Faizal Soon got the match started through his kick off. Alif Dhanabalan took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amirul Teo. Amirul Teo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 9th minute, Mark Dyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amirul Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronn Seng in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sharizan Pieng in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amirul Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ronn Seng took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Amirul Teo to make any attempt to save it. Alif Dhanabalan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Amirul Teo made a huge save. A collision led to Ashington getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Afiq Ning hit a great ball. Amirul Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Ronn Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Melton Mow's Sharizan Pieng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amirul Teo. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. Amirul Teo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sharizan Pieng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Amirul Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharizan Pieng in the 57th minute of the match. If Ronn Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amirul Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alif Dhanabalan in the 63rd minute of play. Asiz Chew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faizal Soon in the 67th minute of play. Ronn Seng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zak Gopala Pillai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amirul Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Melton Mow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hidayat Yang to maneuver through the defense. Amirul Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharizan Pieng in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Hidayat Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amirul Teo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Amirul Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharizan Pieng in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Sharizan Pieng made a precise shot to the right of Amirul Teo. Ashington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Amirul Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shahron Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ashington defense, Hidayat Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amirul Teo. The Ashington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amirul Teo should have stopped the shot. Melton Mow walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
