Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Samuel Seng came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheerness United's Amirul Swee. But to his dismay, Amirul Swee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zafran Politiek took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised SK Yeo. SK Yeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alif Tuan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Seng saved Ipplepens from getting behind. Ipplepens's Samuel Seng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ipplepens from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ipplepens's Samuel Seng got control of the ball when Fariz Wenyong tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Fariz Wenyong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Yeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firdauz Nagasaki in the 27th minute of the match. Amirul Swee might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Seng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amirul Swee ran back to his position shaking his head. Samuel Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faris Sum in the 32nd minute of the match. Alif Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Seng having to interfere. Samuel Seng made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Bineesh Chong sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Fariz Wenyong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Seng. Ipplepens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fariz Wenyong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ipplepens's Samuel Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fariz Wenyong in the 41st minute of play. Samuel Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fariz Wenyong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bineesh Chong was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Samuel Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alif Tuan in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zafran Politiek to make the kick off. Fariz Wenyong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Ipplepens's goal looked a bit too open when Faris Sum came free, but Samuel Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amirul Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Fariz Wenyong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sheerness United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipplepens the free kick. A collision led to Sheerness United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fariz Wenyong hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Sheerness United's goalkeeper SK Yeo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Firdauz Nagasaki. Afiz Tioe's late challenge caught a Sheerness United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afiz Tioe helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 69 minutes, Fariz Wenyong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fariz Wenyong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tan Vijiaratnam charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tan Vijiaratnam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Ipplepens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tan Vijiaratnam to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ipplepens's zone, Alif Tuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Seng came out of the goal and Alif Tuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Ipplepens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fariz Singh to maneuver through the defense.
