Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lamar Mathews kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Wantage United's goalkeeper Shukrie Hock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amirul Swee. After 14 minutes of play, Wantage United's Lamar Mathews made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. SK Yeo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Shukrie Hock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alif Tuan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Sheerness United's SK Yeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamar Mathews in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Sheerness United defense, Zafran Singh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of SK Yeo. The Sheerness United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that SK Yeo should have stopped the shot. SK Yeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamar Mathews in the 28th minute of play. Adam Teo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Sheerness United's goal looked a bit too open when Zafran Singh came free, but SK Yeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharizan Hock in the 34th minute of play forced Sheerness United's goalkeeper SK Yeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sheerness United's SK Yeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamar Mathews in the 36th minute of play. Lamar Mathews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. SK Yeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wantage United booed when Sheerness United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amirul Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Sheerness United got a freekick which was hit by Fariz Wenyong. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alif Tuan made a kick off. Shukrie Hock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amirul Swee, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sheerness United's Amirul Swee pulled a muscle in his leg after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 72 minutes, Shahiran Ramachandran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wantage United and the Sheerness United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sheerness United made a substitution. Nicholas Soon replaced Amirul Swee. After a rather tough play, Wantage United's Sharizan Hock got a free kick in the 75th minute. Shukrie Hock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Soon in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Clive Dyce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheerness United and the Wantage United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Clive Dyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jithu Ning was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Lamar Mathews recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of SK Yeo. Lamar Mathews showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 88 minutes into the match, Wantage United's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Soon came free, but Shukrie Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zafran Singh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but SK Yeo made a huge save. After having played for 92 minutes, Fariz Wenyong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheerness United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fariz Wenyong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alif Tuan in the 94th minute of play forced Wantage United's goalkeeper Shukrie Hock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shukrie Hock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Soon in the 96th minute of play. Sharizan Hock charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sharizan Hock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded Wantage United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sheerness United.
