Great Leighs
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hidayat Lee started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Steven Sarangapani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Great Leighs's Gara Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayat Lee in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Radin Mas AFC were awarded a corner. Rudy Yeo went to the cornerflag to take it. Steven Sarangapani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gara Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Hamir Wah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Great Leighs's Gara Seng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Great Leighs's Anil Chai in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Radin Mas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Anil Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ryan Butcher charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Butcher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ryan Butcher hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayat Lee in the 24th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Hamir Wah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gara Seng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes in the game, Anil Chai fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Asiz Tan having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Aziz Lee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gara Seng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gara Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamir Wah, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gara Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidayat Lee in the 46th minute of the match. With his leg Asiz Tan managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Great Leighs's Anil Chai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Great Leighs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Radin Mas AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anil Chai to make the kick off. Great Leighs's Gara Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayat Lee in the 58th minute of play. Joel Paine's shot from long distance in the 59th minute was not bad at all, but Great Leighs's Gara Seng knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Anil Chai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asiz Tan having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Aziz Lee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radin Mas AFC and the Great Leighs players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Radin Mas AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aziz Lee hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Anil Chai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicholas Liang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danial Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Asiz Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anil Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Anil Chai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Leighs's supporters rose to their feet, but Anil Chai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asiz Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anil Chai struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Asiz Tan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Leighs. In the 95th minute of the match Joel Paine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gara Seng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayat Lee in the 96th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Great Leighs had been in control for most of the match, Radin Mas AFC still came away with the win.
