Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zafran Politiek started the match with the kick off. Samuel Seng was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Hsin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Gabriel Hsin in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Seng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zafran Politiek kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Khai Tioe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Seng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faiz Siang in the 22nd minute. Sean Sarangapani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firdauz Nagasaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Malton's Sean Sarangapani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafran Politiek in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Zafran Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Sarangapani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sean Sarangapani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firdauz Nagasaki in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Malton's Gabriel Hsin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Seng. Samuel Seng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Faiz Siang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malton's supporters rose to their feet, but Faiz Siang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Seng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malton's Khai Tioe got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Malton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Dryburgh to maneuver through the defense. Firdauz Nagasaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute Khai Tioe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khai Tioe made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Afiz Tioe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipplepens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malton the free kick. In the 56thth minute of the game Faiz Siang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipplepens's Samuel Seng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malton's Faiz Siang got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ipplepens's zone, Faiz Siang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Seng came out of the goal and Faiz Siang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khai Tioe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Ipplepens's goal looked a bit too open when Khai Tioe came free, but Samuel Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Khairil Liang notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Malton's Sean Sarangapani. Sean Sarangapani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Firdauz Nagasaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Sarangapani having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Malton's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Hock came free, but Sean Sarangapani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Khairil Liang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Khai Tioe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Faiz Siang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Malton's Sean Sarangapani got control of the ball when Khairil Liang tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Malton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
