Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anil Chai made the kick off which started today's match. Great Leighs made a substitution. Faizal Seah replaced Muhammad Kool. Clive Dyce's late challenge caught a Great Leighs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clive Dyce helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Sheerness United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Great Leighs:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amirul Swee in the 17th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Amirul Swee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gara Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amirul Swee, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gara Seng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amirul Swee went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gara Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amirul Swee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Faris Sum fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sheerness United's protests and gave Faris Sum a yellow card for diving instead. Faris Sum kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Sheerness United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alif Tuan to make the kick off. Gara Seng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amirul Swee in the 52nd minute. If Alif Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gara Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alif Tuan in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Alif Tuan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gara Seng. Alif Tuan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 61st minute, Danial Phua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gara Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fariz Wenyong in the 63rd minute of the match. SK Yeo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anil Chai went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Anil Chai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but SK Yeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alif Tuan in the 74th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Butcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without SK Yeo having to interfere. If Danial Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Anil Chai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Leighs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anil Chai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sheerness United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Great Leighs's much stronger midfield.
