Spectators: 9193 (Terracing: 6896, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aziz Ramachandran started the match with the kick off. After having played for 2 minutes, Zafran Chandran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jester Monkeys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zafran Chandran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Neaden's Shahiran Swee got control of the ball when Aziz Lim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shahiran Swee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafran Chandran in the 10th minute of the match. Jester Monkeys's Zafran Chan suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Darryl Lim's late challenge caught a Jester Monkeys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darryl Lim helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Neaden getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Darryl Lim hit a great ball. Zafran Chandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahiran Swee having to interfere. When Alif Pillai fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neaden's protests and gave Alif Pillai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Neaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alif Pillai to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Neaden booed when Jester Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronn Dhanabalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anil Politiek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Jester Monkeys booed when Neaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khairul Phua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jester Monkeys's Anil Politiek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Ramachandran in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zafran Chandran in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shahiran Swee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zafran Chandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Shahiran Swee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jester Monkeys's Zafran Chandran in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neaden's goalie prevented a goal. Aziz Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anil Politiek having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Zafran Chandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Jester Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Ramachandran came free, but Anil Politiek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shahiran Swee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafran Chandran in the 67th minute of the match. Shahiran Swee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Azly Yi-Sheng's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Shahiran Swee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronn Dhanabalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Neaden's Alif Pillai got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Azly Yi-Sheng took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shahiran Swee. Shahiran Swee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Shahiran Swee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafran Chandran in the 78th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Darryl Hian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neaden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jester Monkeys the free kick. A collision led to Neaden getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Darryl Hian hit a great ball. Shahiran Swee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafran Chandran in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Darryl Hian had to leave the field with a concussion. 81 minutes into the game, Azly Yi-Sheng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jester Monkeys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neaden the free kick. Neaden's Darryl Lim got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Darryl Lim off the ground. The supporters of Jester Monkeys booed when Neaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Lim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shahiran Swee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafran Chandran in the 84th minute of play. Aziz Ramachandran kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Zafran Chandran scored 3-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shahiran Swee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafran Chandran in the 92nd minute of play forced Neaden's goalkeeper Shahiran Swee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Zafran Chandran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Zafran Chandran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shahiran Swee was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Jester Monkeys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
