In the 3rd minute, Danial Koh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redbourn AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Azam Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azam Yeo in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Noh Soon made a precise shot to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Azam Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Redbourn AFC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Redbourn AFC's Azam Yeo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Buck City's Rifqi Koh got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Zafran Chuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Azam Amin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Azam Yeo put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Azam Amin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hidayat Peng in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azam Amin saved Buck City from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hidayat Peng in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azam Amin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 37 minutes, Azam Yeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbourn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azam Yeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hidayat Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Azam Amin having to make a save. Azam Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azam Yeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clive Wah to make the kick off. Azam Amin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hidayat Peng's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Azam Yeo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Azam Amin. Azam Amin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rifqi Koh during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Farhan Ching hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes, Azam Yeo made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. Buck City's Azam Amin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Azam Amin was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Azam Yeo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Azam Yeo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Hidayat Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Buck City booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Koh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Wah came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Buck City getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Steven Leng hit a great ball. Azam Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Buck City's goalkeeper Azam Amin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azam Yeo. After 94 played minutes Buck City got a freekick which was hit by Didi Cho. If Azam Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 99 in the game by Hidayat Peng from a close distance when the talented Azam Amin managed to make a qualified save. Buck City's players were relieved. Redbourn AFC played a much better game than Buck City and deserved their victory. The Buck City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
