The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, LiverBird Flyers FC's Carl Grimes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Edinho de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Azam Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho de Senna in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Edinho de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. LiverBird Flyers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinho de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Amin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st match minute, LiverBird Flyers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khairul Cho to maneuver through the defense. If Gabriel Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Grimes in the 35th minute of play forced Buck City's goalkeeper Azam Amin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Carl Grimes notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Buck City's Azam Amin. Azam Amin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudy Lum was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Carl Grimes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Azam Amin. Carl Grimes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Azam Amin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Grimes in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Lum in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alam Wah saved LiverBird Flyers FC from getting behind. After 74 minutes, Carl Grimes made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Buck City's Azam Amin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carl Grimes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Azam Amin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Carl Grimes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Buck City's Rudy Lum got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Carl Grimes came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the LiverBird Flyers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Grimes couldn't finish the play. Carl Grimes might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azam Amin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Grimes ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over LiverBird Flyers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Buck City throughout the match.
