Geadling's Steven Lum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamar Chien-Kwan in the 43rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Geadling's Iskandar Shyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bineesh Shyan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Arif Lim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bineesh Shyan was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The referee gave Azli Ching a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 93 played minutes Littlehamp got a freekick which was hit by Azli Ching. Littlehamp's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
