A collision led to Dunton Green getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Amirul Chong hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danish Choy got free with Shukrie Kool in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zak Rajah in the 23rd minute of play forced Spang FC's goalkeeper Arif Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Dunton Green's Tan Tee made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Lim was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mark Ee fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spang FC's protests and gave Mark Ee a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Mark Ee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Khai Nair fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spang FC's protests and gave Khai Nair a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Spang FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Khai Nair hit a great ball. The supporters of Dunton Green booed when Spang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khai Nair didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Danish Choy made the kick off in the second half. Zak Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zak Rajah was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Dunton Green's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 69th minute Amirul Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Spang FC's goalkeeper Arif Lim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Zak Rajah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arif Lim. The goal made the score 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Spang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamar Yeo came free, but Arif Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Zak Rajah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arif Lim. Zak Rajah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Dunton Green's Amirul Chong got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Tan Tee reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arif Lim. The goal made the score 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tan Tee in the 98th minute of play forced Spang FC's goalkeeper Arif Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danish Choy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Dunton Green left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spang FC.
