Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Farhan Boon got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Peranakan's goalkeeper Dênis Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Farhan Boon. In the 4th minute Philippe Jensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Farhan Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dênis Alves was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Farhan Boon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Farhan Boon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 13 minutes, Zak Henderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peranakan and the Partington players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peranakan! Philippe Jensen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Peranakan's goal looked a bit too open when Gara Siang came free, but Dênis Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Peranakan's Zak Henderson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Cho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dênis Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Philippe Jensens short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Dênis Alves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zak Chong made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gara Siang in the 54th minute of play forced Peranakan's goalkeeper Dênis Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Partington got a corner. Peranakan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zak Soon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amirul Hian was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. John Cho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sajeev Braddell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Gara Siang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philippe Jensen got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Peranakan booed when Partington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Jensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Partington walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
