Spectators: 10904 (Terracing: 8179, Seating: 2508, VIP seats: 217) 4 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's Mark Chian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Seng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albert Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 7th minute of play. Alexander Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serkan Onatsu in the 8th minute of the match. Serkan Onatsu took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Sum. Alexander Sum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Mark Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind SKARF's goalkeeper Albert Seng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Chian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albert Seng firmly grabbed it by the left post. SKARF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Mark Chian scored to the left of an out of position Albert Seng, making the score, 1-1. The corner led NFH Family United's Ang Chew to fire away a dangerous shot which Albert Seng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mark Chian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Seng having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in NFH Family United's zone, Gage Ning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Sum came out of the goal and Gage Ning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jithu Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ang Chew hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mark Chian made the kick off in the second half. Mark Chian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Seng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's Mark Chian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Seng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Mark Chian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SKARF made a substitution. Dale Pillai replaced Didi Lee. Ang Chew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Serkan Onatsu notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of NFH Family United's Alexander Sum. Alexander Sum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, SKARF's Alexander Sum threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Serkan Onatsu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Chew in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind SKARF's goalkeeper Albert Seng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in NFH Family United's zone, Serkan Onatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Sum came out of the goal and Serkan Onatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mark Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albert Seng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Chian's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 94th minute of the game, Alan Chong landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ang Chew during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Ang Chew. SKARF played a much better game than NFH Family United and deserved their victory. The NFH Family United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
