When Gabriel Tee fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SKARF's protests and gave Gabriel Tee a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Hidayat Rajah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, SKARF's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Maciel came free, but Albert Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amir Au during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amir Au kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Didi Lee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hidayat Rajah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Serkan Onatsu sped through Tampines Rovers Football's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hidayat Rajah. Asiz Koh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hidayat Rajah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serkan Onatsu in the 28th minute of the match. Hidayat Rajah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SKARF's Albert Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Maciel in the 33rd minute of play. SKARF's Hafriz Wah got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şanver Kadi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Sidnei Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Seng having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of SKARF booed when Tampines Rovers Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şanver Kadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Selatse replaced Sidnei Maciel. Şanver Kadi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. SKARF's attack was well implemented in the 69th minute, but when Dale Pillai was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 76th minute, Serkan Onatsu made a precise shot to the right of Hidayat Rajah. Tampines Rovers Football's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 80 minutes into the game, Şanver Kadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tampines Rovers Football's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SKARF the free kick. Şanver Kadi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute Serkan Onatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayat Rajah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, SKARF's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Selatse came free, but Albert Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers Football's goal looked a bit too open when Serkan Onatsu came free, but Hidayat Rajah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tampines Rovers Football fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SKARF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
