Harrison Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aries Macatumpag in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dunston's Daniel Buban got a free kick in the 4th minute. Aries Macatumpag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harrison Paulin having to interfere. A collision led to Dunston getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Michaelo Calambacal hit a great ball. Earnest Baysac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Locsin having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Darlington City got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Orcullo. 17 minutes into the game, Horace Borromeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darlington City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunston the free kick. In the 17th minute, Horace Borromeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Dunston got a freekick which was hit by Jack Vianzon. Jeremias Cuaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Harrison Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dunston's Daniel Buban got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Aries Macatumpag came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Darlington City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aries Macatumpag couldn't finish the play. Harrison Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aries Macatumpag in the 28th minute of play. Jack Vianzon's late challenge caught a Darlington City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Vianzon helped the player get up and apologised. Jack Vianzon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Harrison Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aries Macatumpag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Jeremias Cuaresma could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Harrison Paulin however easily saved by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, Dunston's William Salenda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Locsin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Darlington City's zone, Earnest Baysac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Locsin came out of the goal and Earnest Baysac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Salenda was the one to do the kick off. Earnest Baysac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Joseph Locsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darlington City's Joseph Locsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Salenda in the 57th minute of play. When Rizal Tiangco fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunston's protests and gave Rizal Tiangco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Rizal Tiangco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeremias Cuaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Earnest Baysac got free with Joseph Locsin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Salenda struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Joseph Locsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunston. If William Salenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Jeremias Cuaresma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunston's Harrison Paulin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Noli Naguiat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes, Angelino Gonzales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunston and the Darlington City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, one of Dunston:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dunston. Ollie Guanzon walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Aries Macatumpag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joseph Locsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Salenda in the 90th minute of play. Harrison Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aries Macatumpag in the 91st minute of play. Dunston's Harrison Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Cuaresma in the 97th minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Jeremias Cuaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darlington City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Cuaresma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dunston had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
