Igme Cabanatan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Conlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Conlu in the 34th minute of play forced Seaton's goalkeeper Igme Cabanatan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Víctor Perez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Igme Cabanatan. The goal made the score 1-0. Igme Cabanatan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Conlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cornelius Conlu was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Manila Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Sonnymar Pagdanganan. After 58 played minutes, Seaton's Carl Bedic shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julien Eugster came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seaton reached it. Julien Eugster made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ambrosio Famador sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the game, Wilbur Delacruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seaton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manila Rangers the free kick. The supporters of Manila Rangers booed when Seaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilbur Delacruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manila Rangers's Jake Libiran was substituted for Víctor Perez. In the 72nd minute, Wilbur Delacruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Manila Rangers's Jake Libiran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igme Cabanatan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Igme Cabanatan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manila Rangers. Jake Libiran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igme Cabanatan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Seaton's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelius Conlu came free, but Igme Cabanatan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jake Libiran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
