Carl Macasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Cacpal in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harolde Gunigundo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Macasa saved Friendsip FC from getting behind. The supporters of Little Comberton FC booed when Friendsip FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jojo Banzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Jerome Cacpal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carl Macasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jerome Cacpal came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Little Comberton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerome Cacpal couldn't finish the play. Nicholas Lapuz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Jerome Cacpal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little Comberton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerome Cacpal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Jemir Ragot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Quiogue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Friendsip FC's Perry Pamon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Quiogue made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Harolde Gunigundo made a precise shot to the right of Carl Macasa. Friendsip FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Perry Pamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Friendsip FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perry Pamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Quiogue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jerome Cacpal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Harolde Gunigundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Comberton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harolde Gunigundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Macasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jemir Ragot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Quiogue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jemir Ragot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Sidney Cabanag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Friendsip FC's Jojo Banzon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes, Little Comberton FC's Irvine Pasinabo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carl Macasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Little Comberton FC reached it. Jerome Cacpal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Jemir Ragot fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anton Quiogue, passed just outside the right post. Jerome Cacpal took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Macasa. Carl Macasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 88 minutes into the game, Rogelio Palisoc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Friendsip FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Little Comberton FC the free kick. After 88 played minutes Friendsip FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Palisoc. Irvine Pasinabo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carl Macasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little Comberton FC. Harolde Gunigundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Macasa having to interfere. Friendsip FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
