Stallion Laguna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Little Comberton FC the free kick. Irvine Pasinabo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lawrence Sablon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pearl Calilan scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lawrence Sablon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rufus Palag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anton Quiogue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Jerome Cacpal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lawrence Sablon. Jerome Cacpal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Filip Šujanský managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stallion Laguna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Šujanský was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Quiogue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harolde Gunigundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jerome Cacpal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Harolde Gunigundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Comberton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harolde Gunigundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Sablon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lawrence Sablon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Cacpal in the 34th minute of the match. Filip Šujanský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Anton Quiogue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Little Comberton FC's zone, Filip Šujanský stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Quiogue came out of the goal and Filip Šujanský tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Little Comberton FC's Harley Janeo got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerome Cacpal to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Stallion Laguna FC's Francisco Paulin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Little Comberton FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Irvine Pasinabo in the 58th minute. A collision led to Stallion Laguna FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Liberato Cabael hit a great ball. When Irvine Pasinabo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Little Comberton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irvine Pasinabo couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Stallion Laguna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Cacpal came free, but Lawrence Sablon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lawrence Sablon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Cacpal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Filip Šujanský hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Stallion Laguna FC's Lawrence Sablon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Cacpal in the 77th minute of play. If Pearl Calilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Šujanský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Cacpal in the 97th minute of play forced Stallion Laguna FC's goalkeeper Lawrence Sablon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stallion Laguna FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
