After a rather tough play, Cebu Hammers FC's Mark Macadangdang got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Jerome Younghusband was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tingley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cebu Hammers FC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Tingley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Younghusband to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cebu Hammers FC booed when Tingley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Younghusband didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renren Llaban came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harry Singson could save by the left post. Aquilino Siongco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Maglacas having to interfere. If Aquilino Siongco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Siongco in the 22nd minute of play forced Cebu Hammers FC's goalkeeper Ali Maglacas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cebu Hammers FC's Jose Quirimit got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Cebu Hammers FC got a freekick which was hit by Emil Cabanting. Harry Singson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Quirimit in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Tingley got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Younghusband. Harry Singson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Quirimit, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Tingley's goalkeeper Harry Singson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renren Llaban. In the 44th minute, Renren Llaban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cebu Hammers FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Emil Cabanting hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Quirimit to make the kick off. Ali Maglacas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Vinzon went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Harry Singson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renren Llaban in the 64th minute of the match. If Jose Quirimit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Singson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renren Llaban in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Renren Llaban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cebu Hammers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renren Llaban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Siongco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Jose Quirimit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cebu Hammers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Quirimit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Tingley got a freekick which was hit by Homobono Dimzon. 86 minutes into the match, Cebu Hammers FC's Xerex Paredes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Jose Quirimit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tingley's Harry Singson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Quirimit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Harry Singson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Tingley's Luisito Vinzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Maglacas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
