After a defensive mix-up in Ashford's zone, William Booth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heriberto Caparas came out of the goal and William Booth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Raiden Shogun FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Inosram Yongque hit a great ball. Archie Pagdanganan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mar Blas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clifford Ninobla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Heriberto Caparas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clifford Ninobla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raiden Shogun FC's Clifford Ninobla in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashford's goalie prevented a goal. William Booth was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Raiden Shogun FC's Ruffy Villarino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Heriberto Caparas. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Heriberto Caparas made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when William Booth sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Clifford Ninobla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clifford Ninobla scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heriberto Caparas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clifford Ninobla kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match Clifford Ninobla climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Heriberto Caparas. Mar Blas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Pagdanganan having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Raiden Shogun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph Galapon to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Peanut Cangco made a precise shot to the right of Archie Pagdanganan. Raiden Shogun FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Archie Pagdanganan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mar Blas's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When Raiden Shogun FC's Clifford Ninobla in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashford's goalie prevented a goal. In the 53rd minute Monroe Melliza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Pagdanganan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ashford booed when Raiden Shogun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolph Galapon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Clifford Ninobla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashford's Heriberto Caparas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clifford Ninobla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Heriberto Caparas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Raiden Shogun FC's William Booth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raiden Shogun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Booth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Clifford Ninobla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ora Hicban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raiden Shogun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ora Hicban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heriberto Caparas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raiden Shogun FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
