After a rather tough play, Rickmansworth's Leonard Labuga got a free kick in the 7th minute. Romcim Biazon scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diomar Casuga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliver Monzon kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rickmansworth's zone, Mar Blas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diomar Casuga came out of the goal and Mar Blas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diomar Casuga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mar Blas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mar Blas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Diomar Casuga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wowowee Yulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Heriberto Caparas made a huge save. When Mar Blas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ashford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mar Blas couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Rickmansworth defense, Peanut Cangco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diomar Casuga. The Rickmansworth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diomar Casuga should have stopped the shot. Mar Blas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diomar Casuga having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rickmansworth fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Ashford. Pogi Villarino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diomar Casuga. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Labuga to make the kick off. Leonard Labuga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Caparas having to interfere. Heriberto Caparas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Labuga in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Mar Blas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mar Blas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wowowee Yulo in the 66th minute of play forced Ashford's goalkeeper Heriberto Caparas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Monroe Melliza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rickmansworth the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Ashford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monroe Melliza to maneuver through the defense. Raminos Francisco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Leonard Labuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonard Labuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rickmansworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wowowee Yulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rickmansworth supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ashford's performance. The match ended with a win for Ashford.
