Noli Cacalda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 14 played minutes Nagemine Syn FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Cabanag. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lee Singson in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noli Cacalda saved Derby from getting behind. Noli Cacalda was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Marion Yalung capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marion Yalung really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Nagemine Syn FC's Marion Yalung was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Abraham Donieza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Quimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florinio Cabili fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagemine Syn FC's protests and gave Florinio Cabili a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nginamz Hartmann in the 45th minute of play forced Derby's goalkeeper Noli Cacalda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Marion Yalung took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Noli Cacalda to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Marion Yalung made the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noli Cacalda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Derby's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Singson came free, but Noli Cacalda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derby's Noli Cacalda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Matundan in the 90th minute of play.
