In the 8th match minute, Malmesbury City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jomari Gonong to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Herbert Gumatay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Lindawan charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Lindawan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Lindawan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the game, Jomari Gonong landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Frederico Macatumpag fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bournemouth City's protests and gave Frederico Macatumpag a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Frederico Macatumpag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Malmesbury City's Neckson Yalung broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. George Querimit hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Aga Tecson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aga Tecson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isko Palugod having to interfere. Bournemouth City's Isko Palugod proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bournemouth City from getting a goal against them. Herbert Gumatay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Mabaquiao having to interfere. Aga Tecson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Isko Palugod made a huge save. Isko Palugod made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Aga Tecson sent off a good shot on target. George Querimit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isko Palugod having to make a save. Isko Palugod came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Malmesbury City's Aga Tecson. But to his dismay, Aga Tecson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 45th minute, Aga Tecson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frederico Macatumpag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rogelio Mabaquiao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Aga Tecson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isko Palugod. Isko Palugod dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 65 minutes into the match, Bournemouth City's goal looked a bit too open when Aga Tecson came free, but Isko Palugod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Macatumpag hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Isko Palugod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aga Tecson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Isko Suntay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogelio Mabaquiao firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Bournemouth City defense, Aga Tecson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isko Palugod. The Bournemouth City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isko Palugod should have stopped the shot. Aga Tecson took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isko Palugod. Isko Palugod dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 82nd match minute, Malmesbury City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Querimit to maneuver through the defense. Isko Suntay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
