Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kaberks Malabuyo got the match started through his kick off. Warren Quengua hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Kirk Quimsons short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Rizalino Lagbas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kaberks Malabuyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rizalino Lagbas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rizalino Lagbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaberks Malabuyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 7 minutes, Robert Paling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ragudos Stars F.C. and the Derby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noli Cacalda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nataniel Tumanda in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Kirk Quimson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rizalino Lagbas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes, Warren Quengua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ragudos Stars F.C. and the Derby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Warren Quengua kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Kaberks Malabuyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rizalino Lagbas having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Ragudos Stars F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Paling to maneuver through the defense. Rizalino Lagbas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaberks Malabuyo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Nataniel Tumanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dave Sumalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Kaberks Malabuyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derby's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaberks Malabuyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rizalino Lagbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Derby booed when Ragudos Stars F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warren Quengua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derby's Kirk Quimson got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kirk Quimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jake Tolentino hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Kaberks Malabuyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michaelo Cabili came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Noli Cacalda could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Derby's zone, Dave Sumalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noli Cacalda came out of the goal and Dave Sumalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nataniel Tumanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derby's Noli Cacalda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Derby from getting a goal against them. Ragudos Stars F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
