In the 17th match minute, Banbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Nogoy to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Austin Naguit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banbury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grimsby Town FC the free kick. After 19 played minutes Banbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Austin Naguit. Thanks to some nice moves Marshall Ruffy could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Leonides Bonzon however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 26 in the game by Marshall Ruffy from a close distance when the talented Leonides Bonzon managed to make a qualified save. Banbury FC's players were relieved. Adam Allado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grimsby Town FC's Adam Allado suffered a concussion after 31 minutes and had to leave the field. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Banbury FC! Feliciano Taasan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Banbury FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alvin Salavia 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alvin Salavia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimsby Town FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvin Salavia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Bonzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marshall Ruffy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Leonides Bonzon made a huge save. Jim Malabuyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Nogoy was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Marshall Ruffy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banbury FC's Leonides Bonzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Ruffy in the 60th minute of play forced Banbury FC's goalkeeper Leonides Bonzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marshall Ruffy succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. A collision led to Banbury FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Austin Naguit hit a great ball. Leonides Bonzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Salavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alvin Salavia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banbury FC's Leonides Bonzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvin Salavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Bonzon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Ruffy in the 76th minute of play forced Banbury FC's goalkeeper Leonides Bonzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvin Salavia kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Austin Naguit struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dogong Cusi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banbury FC. If Dave Nogoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Malabuyo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Malabuyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jim Malabuyo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Dave Nogoy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 91 minutes of play, Grimsby Town FC's Alvin Salavia made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Bonzon was left in no man's land by his defense there!
