Monroe Quimpo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerex Cusi in the 4th minute of play. Xerex Cusi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Xerex Cusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monroe Quimpo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Montrelle Magadap notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of United City's Eddie Lumbang. Eddie Lumbang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xerex Cusi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Monroe Quimpo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Montrelle Magadap's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eddie Lumbang was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hinckley's goalkeeper Monroe Quimpo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in United City's zone, Montrelle Magadap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Lumbang came out of the goal and Montrelle Magadap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Xerex Cusi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Monroe Quimpo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Xerex Cusi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monroe Quimpo having to interfere. Mose Songco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Lumbang having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, United City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sasan Maduli to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Montrelle Magadap made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Hinckley's Mose Songco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Lumbang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Montrelle Magadap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eddie Lumbang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Xerex Cusi sped through Hinckley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Monroe Quimpo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emelio Pasinabo in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monroe Quimpo saved Hinckley from getting behind. Montrelle Magadap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eddie Lumbang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Hinckley's goal looked a bit too open when Xerex Cusi came free, but Monroe Quimpo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. United City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
