Sonny Salenda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Manuelo Galacio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernando Licuanan's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Manuelo Galacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernando Licuanan went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Harvington AFC's Sonny Salenda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Bagongarao in the 19th minute of play. DREAM's Alande Italia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sonny Salenda but with some difficulty. In the 25th minute, DREAM's Louis Bagongarao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After some careless play in the DREAM defense, Hernando Licuanan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuelo Galacio. The DREAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuelo Galacio should have stopped the shot. Sonny Salenda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Benitez in the 38th minute of play. If Hernando Licuanan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Salenda was a little too slow when Louis Bagongarao got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 47th minute, Peyman Quimbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sonny Salenda was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Bagongarao was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Harvington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Bagongarao came free, but Sonny Salenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Harvington AFC's Popcorn Bunsoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuelo Galacio. That made the score 5-3 after 64 minutes of play. Louis Bagongarao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sonny Salenda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Peyman Quimbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Sonny Salenda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sonny Salenda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Bagongarao, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Bagongarao in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Salenda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Popcorn Bunsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuelo Galacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Harvington AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ray Tangco hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernando Licuanan got free with Manuelo Galacio in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Louis Bagongarao put it in 7-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sonny Salenda. After some careless play in the Harvington AFC defense, Peyman Quimbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Salenda. The Harvington AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Salenda should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Hernando Licuanan made a precise shot to the right of Manuelo Galacio. DREAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DREAM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Harvington AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
