Harvington AFC's Ray Tangco got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Harvington AFC booed when Valtinas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rizalino Salarila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Hernando Licuanan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Latap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Salenda having to interfere. Efren Sangil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernando Licuanan in the 38th minute of the match. Popcorn Bunsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Efren Sangil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hernando Licuanan came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Harvington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernando Licuanan couldn't finish the play. Rizalino Salarila's late challenge caught a Harvington AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rizalino Salarila helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Rizalino Salarila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Latap made a kick off. Popcorn Bunsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efren Sangil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Popcorn Bunsoy struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Efren Sangil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harvington AFC. Popcorn Bunsoy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 68 played minutes Harvington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Dolera. Hans Inton, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 71st minute Jose Latap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Salenda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Popcorn Bunsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valtinas F.C.'s Efren Sangil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernando Licuanan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Efren Sangil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Valtinas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rizalino Salarila. 79 minutes into the game, Hernando Licuanan lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Efren Sangil. Andrew Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Ray Tangco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diomar Younghusband charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Harvington AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
