Brentford AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adam Allado 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 14 minutes, Guadalupe Supnet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brentford AFC and the Grimsby Town FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grimsby Town FC booed when Brentford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guadalupe Supnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Homobono Diamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Allado in the 15th minute of the match. Marshall Ruffy might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Homobono Diamante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marshall Ruffy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Grimsby Town FC's Adam Allado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 24 played minutes Brentford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Ocampo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marshall Ruffy got free with Homobono Diamante in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Homobono Diamante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yao Blas charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yao Blas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brentford AFC! Brentford AFC:s Homobono Diamante showed great skill when he stopped Feliciano Taasan:s penalty. Grimsby Town FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Brentford AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mike Albano took the corner. Feliciano Taasan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grimsby Town FC's Marshall Ruffy got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When Grimsby Town FC's Marshall Ruffy in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brentford AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Adam Allado scored 5-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Homobono Diamante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Homobono Diamante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshall Ruffy, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Grimsby Town FC's Marshall Ruffy in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 73rd minute, Ross Pagdanganan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Jumawan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Ruffy in the 78th minute of play forced Brentford AFC's goalkeeper Homobono Diamante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Marshall Ruffy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Homobono Diamante was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Grimsby Town FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
