Homobono Diamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florence Yengko in the 31st minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ross Pagdanganan to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anastasio Ocampo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brentford AFC's protests and gave Anastasio Ocampo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brentford AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anastasio Ocampo hit a great ball. Bedlington AFC's Florence Yengko got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ref Calilan struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Homobono Diamante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedlington AFC. Anastasio Ocampo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Florence Yengko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Florence Yengko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Homobono Diamante managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Bedlington AFC's Florence Yengko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ross Pagdanganan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedlington AFC's Florence Yengko came free and shot a quick shot against goal 95 minutes in the game, fortunately Homobono Diamante had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match was over Bedlington AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brentford AFC throughout the match.
