The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emelio Pasinabo got free with Sonny Bayquin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, United City's goal looked a bit too open when Tondo Sopsop came free, but Eddie Lumbang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xerex Cusi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Nur Gosum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eddie Lumbang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xerex Cusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Bayquin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xerex Cusi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Nur Gosum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernandez Younghusband's late challenge caught a San Jacinto United™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernandez Younghusband helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to United City getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hernandez Younghusband hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tondo Sopsop in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Lumbang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emelio Pasinabo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sonny Bayquin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of San Jacinto United™ booed when United City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernandez Younghusband didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nur Gosum in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Lumbang saved United City from getting behind. Xerex Cusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Sonny Bayquin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emelio Pasinabo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nur Gosum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Lumbang having to interfere. Tondo Sopsop's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Eddie Lumbang skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to San Jacinto United™ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Shoemart Banaticla hit a great ball. Emelio Pasinabo scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Bayquin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emelio Pasinabo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Bayquin having to interfere. Lloyd Patao kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Xerex Cusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Guanzon charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Guanzon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of United City booed when San Jacinto United™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Guanzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Xerex Cusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Bayquin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Lloyd Patao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Jacinto United™ and the United City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, San Jacinto United™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lloyd Patao to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Claude Brillantes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and San Jacinto United™'s Sonny Bayquin didn't even have to move. Xerex Cusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Bayquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emelio Pasinabo in the 88th minute of the match. Emelio Pasinabo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Bayquin. Sonny Bayquin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Sonny Bayquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sasan Maduli in the 94th minute of the match. If Xerex Cusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xerex Cusi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. United City fully deserved thier win.
