After a rather tough play, Brentford AFC's Anastasio Ocampo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Homobono Diamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Naguit in the 17th minute of the match. Homobono Diamante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Nogoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Austin Naguit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homobono Diamante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austin Naguit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ross Pagdanganan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Bonzon saved Banbury FC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Banbury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Pagdanganan came free, but Leonides Bonzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Luzvimindo Caruscay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banbury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brentford AFC the free kick. In the 38th minute, Erap Cordova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Austin Naguit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brentford AFC's Ross Pagdanganan got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Austin Naguit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benjamin Jumawan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brentford AFC's protests and gave Benjamin Jumawan a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Brentford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Jumawan. Austin Naguit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Homobono Diamante made a huge save. Banbury FC's Leonides Bonzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Pagdanganan in the 74th minute of play. Erap Cordova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Bonzon having to interfere. Benjamin Jumawan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Dave Nogoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Homobono Diamante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Banbury FC booed when Brentford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Tumanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Banbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willie Sia to maneuver through the defense. When Erap Cordova came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Brentford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erap Cordova couldn't finish the play. Ross Pagdanganan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Bonzon. Leonides Bonzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
