Homobono Diamante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Latap, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Max Nogoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Valtinas F.C.'s Jose Latap slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Homobono Diamante. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Max Nogoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erap Cordova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Rizalino Salarila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valtinas F.C. and the Brentford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rizalino Salarila hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Efren Sangil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erap Cordova in the 33rd minute of the match. Max Nogoy took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Homobono Diamante. Homobono Diamante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Erap Cordova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Latap made a kick off. Erap Cordova succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 53rd playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ross Pagdanganan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brentford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ross Pagdanganan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Sangil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Latap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Nogoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Homobono Diamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Brentford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Jumawan. Jose Latap hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Andrew Chavez struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Homobono Diamante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valtinas F.C.. Homobono Diamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Nogoy in the 71st minute of play. Valtinas F.C.'s Efren Sangil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Pagdanganan in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Pagdanganan in the 74th minute of play forced Valtinas F.C.'s goalkeeper Efren Sangil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Erap Cordova managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brentford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erap Cordova was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erap Cordovas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Efren Sangil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Brentford AFC defense, Max Nogoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Homobono Diamante. The Brentford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Homobono Diamante should have stopped the shot. Hans Inton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valtinas F.C. had won after a very even match.
