The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lance Bagadiong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponyong Quisisem having to interfere. Nimrod Dulay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Modig in the 8th minute of play. When Rgh's Kurt Modig in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilak FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Bayani Diamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nimrod Dulay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Modig's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Rgh's Kurt Modig in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilak FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nimrod Dulay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Modig went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lance Bagadiong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Fahad Limson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rgh's Ponyong Quisisem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yao Duyan in the 24th minute of play. Kurt Modig took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nimrod Dulay. Nimrod Dulay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Rgh's Kurt Modig in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilak FC's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Kurt Modig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nimrod Dulay. Pilak FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Modig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 40th minute of the match Sebastiano Bedic sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nimrod Dulay skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Modig in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nimrod Dulay saved Pilak FC from getting behind. Nimrod Dulay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Modig went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Kurt Modig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nimrod Dulay was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Pilak FC's Nimrod Dulay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aga Ocampo in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yao Duyan was the one to do the kick off. Pilak FC's Nimrod Dulay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Modig in the 53rd minute of play. Nimrod Dulay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Modig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes Kurt Modig rounded Pilak FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Kurt Modig struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nimrod Dulay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rgh. Nimrod Dulay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Modig in the 60th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Kurt Modig put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Nimrod Dulay. In the 67th minute, Kurt Modig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nimrod Dulay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in Pilak FC's zone, Kurt Modig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nimrod Dulay came out of the goal and Kurt Modig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Pilak FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanley Arong. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Modig in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nimrod Dulay saved Pilak FC from getting behind. Bayani Diamante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Nimrod Dulay made a huge save. Stanley Arong hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nimrod Dulay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Modig's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Lance Bagadiong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Modig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nimrod Dulay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pilak FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rgh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
