Spectators: 8030 (Terracing: 6031, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albert Go kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Albert Go was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandaon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phase V FC the free kick. Albert Go hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mandaon FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Grover Bucsit hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, Mandaon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Homobono Leyson to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Abayari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Singian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Philipo Luzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Albert Go managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandaon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Go was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noli Bandigas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noli Bandigas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Oscar Quison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Noli Bandigas. Oscar Quison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 39 minutes into the game, Philipo Luzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phase V FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandaon FC the free kick. Philipo Luzon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Alex Singian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Otto Songco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandaon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Songco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Singian to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Phase V FC got a corner. Mandaon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Homobono Leonora ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Icban in the 59th minute of play forced Phase V FC's goalkeeper Noli Bandigas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noli Bandigas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Songco in the 66th minute of the match. Cristiano Abayari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Singian's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Maurice Icban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Otto Songco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Phase V FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanley Henson. Maurice Icban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Mandaon FC's Oscar Quison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noli Bandigas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Maurice Icban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Mandaon FC's Maurice Icban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noli Bandigas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Stanley Henson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Mandaon FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
