He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mandaon FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Rgh's Kidlat Magahis got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Luther Valmayor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ponyong Quisisem skillfully saved the ball. Maurice Icban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponyong Quisisem having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Albert Go shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponyong Quisisem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Abayari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Modig in the 35th minute of the match. Ponyong Quisisem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Icban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mandaon FC's Otto Songco got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aga Ocampo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Abayari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rgh's goalkeeper Ponyong Quisisem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Aga Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Abayari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayani Diamante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ponyong Quisisem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Go, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes, Kurt Modig made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mandaon FC's Cristiano Abayari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Lonnie Lumbang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ponyong Quisisem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Go in the 87th minute of play. Otto Songco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponyong Quisisem having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kurt Modig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Abayari was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Albert Go shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponyong Quisisem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
