After a rather tough play, Phase V FC's Philipo Luzon got a free kick in the 10th minute. Stanley Pecson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Noli Bandigas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noli Bandigas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanley Pecson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Archie Dorilag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homobono Leonora walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Mike Mellendrez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Stanley Henson charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanley Henson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Phase V FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanley Henson to maneuver through the defense. Noli Bandigas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Pecson in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Bodicote City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Singian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mike Dulay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthony Garong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Homobono Leonora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 54th minute of the match Stanley Henson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stanley Henson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Phase V FC's Stanley Henson got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Homobono Leonora during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Phase V FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! If Stanley Pecson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute of the match Nur Quisisem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthony Garong skillfully saved the ball. Mike Mellendrez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noli Bandigas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Alex Singian's late challenge caught a Bodicote City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Singian helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bodicote City booed when Phase V FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Singian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mike Mellendrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Noli Bandigas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Alex Singian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Singian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Phase V FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bodicote City's performance. The match ended with a win for Bodicote City.
