Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elmer Delasin got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Thanet defense, Harolde Hosseinzadeh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szeke Hosseinzadeh. The Thanet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szeke Hosseinzadeh should have stopped the shot. Russell Tuico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmer Delasin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Russell Tuico made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Oliverio Tanjangco sent off a good shot on target. Harolde Hosseinzadeh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szeke Hosseinzadeh having to interfere. Elmer Delasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Russell Tuico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Thanet's goal looked a bit too open when Harolde Hosseinzadeh came free, but Szeke Hosseinzadeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Alresford were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanet's Oliverio Tanjangco got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Alresford:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Thanet:s goal. The referee gave Thanet a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuelo Mationg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alresford's Russell Tuico. 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Thanet's goalkeeper Szeke Hosseinzadeh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Tagay. After 75 played minutes Alresford got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Sopsop. Harrison Sablon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Szeke Hosseinzadeh. Thanet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
