The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albert Go succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Jeff Jocson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Go, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SupaStrikas's goalkeeper Jeff Jocson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Mandaon FC booed when SupaStrikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clint Deonzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeff Jocson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Icban in the 10th minute of the match. Maurice Icban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Icban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jeff Jocson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Albert Go cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jeff Jocson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 18th minute of the match Clint Deonzon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Clint Deonzon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Clint Deonzon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Jeff Jocson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Go, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Jocson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Go in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, SupaStrikas's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Icban came free, but Jeff Jocson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asi Buban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, SupaStrikas's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Icban came free, but Jeff Jocson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Albert Go sped through SupaStrikas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeff Jocson. Maurice Icban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeff Jocson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Icban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurice Icban scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeff Jocson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asi Buban to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Mandaon FC's Maurice Icban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeff Jocson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, SupaStrikas's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Go came free, but Jeff Jocson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by SupaStrikas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luther Valmayor was slow to take the kick. During this time Mandaon FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 83rd minute, Oscar Quison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurice Icban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Albert Go had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Go in the 92nd minute of play forced SupaStrikas's goalkeeper Jeff Jocson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurice Icban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Jeff Jocson made a huge save. The SupaStrikas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mandaon FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
