Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mike Mellendrez kicked off to start the match. When Calvin Allado fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodicote City's protests and gave Calvin Allado a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Bodicote City got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Allado. After having played for 5 minutes, Oslec Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oslec Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calvin Allado kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Pirton's Bongbong Parotong broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pirton's Oslec Caballero in the 16th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Anthony Garong was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bodicote City through an amazing save. 18 minutes into the match, Bodicote City's goal looked a bit too open when Oslec Caballero came free, but Anthony Garong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Earnest Tabug's late challenge caught a Bodicote City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Earnest Tabug helped the player get up and apologised. Earnest Tabug hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Bodicote City's Stanley Pecson in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirton's goalie prevented a goal. Stanley Pecson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Yulo having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Pirton got a freekick which was hit by Earnest Tabug. With an all-out effort, Pirton's Anthony Garong threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oslec Caballero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 33 minutes of play, Bodicote City's Stanley Pecson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Austin Yulo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd match minute, Pirton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alve Quibola to maneuver through the defense. Austin Yulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Pecson in the 45th minute of play. Austin Yulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Pecson in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Oslec Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, Oslec Caballero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Garong. Bodicote City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oslec Caballero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Mike Mellendrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pirton's Austin Yulo got control of the ball when Stanley Pecson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stanley Pecson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodicote City's Anthony Garong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Bayquin in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Bodicote City getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Clyde Castor hit a great ball. Percy Bayquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Garong having to interfere. Stanley Pecson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Austin Yulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austin Yulo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Stanley Pecson sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Bodicote City's Stanley Pecson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Austin Yulo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Bodicote City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bodicote City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
