Bert Mellendrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robot Guanlao having to interfere. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Oliverios Lombos sped through Withernsea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robot Guanlao. In the 34th minute, Heriberto Calambacal made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Palugod. GenSan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Samuel Monzon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Oliverios Lombos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robot Guanlao, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Romnick Sarigumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute, Vincent Leyson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Withernsea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 77th match minute, Withernsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Yambao to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Withernsea's zone, Oliver Quengua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robot Guanlao came out of the goal and Oliver Quengua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliverios Lombos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When GenSan's Oliverios Lombos in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Robot Guanlao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Lombos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pete Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot. GenSan's supporters rose to their feet, but Pete Chavez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robot Guanlao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robot Guanlao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverios Lombos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Bert Mellendrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Withernsea's Robot Guanlao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Withernsea's Robot Guanlao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverios Lombos in the 91st minute of play.
