Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Phillip Cabanag got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romnick Sarigumba in the 10th minute of play forced Newton on Ouse's goalkeeper Frederick Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederick Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverios Lombos in the 12th minute of the match. Frederick Caballero came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by GenSan's Oliverios Lombos. But to his dismay, Oliverios Lombos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Oliverios Lombos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Newton on Ouse's Frederick Caballero. Frederick Caballero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Newton on Ouse's Frederick Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverios Lombos in the 24th minute of play. After 29 played minutes GenSan got a freekick which was hit by Romnick Sarigumba. The audience was convinced that Oliverios Lombos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederick Caballero was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Edgar Palugod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wallace Lumungsod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, GenSan's Oliverios Lombos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederick Caballero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Frederick Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverios Lombos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Mellendrez in the 56th minute of play forced Newton on Ouse's goalkeeper Frederick Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Palugod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip Cabanag in the 60th minute of the match. Oliverios Lombos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. GenSan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Frederick Caballero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Mellendrez in the 66th minute of play. Romnick Sarigumba struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Frederick Caballero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GenSan. 79 minutes into the match, GenSan's Bert Mellendrez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederick Caballero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frederick Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliverios Lombos in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Bert Mellendrez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frederick Caballero. The goal made the score 0-4. After a rather tough play, Newton on Ouse's Neckson Jaugan got a free kick in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Mellendrez came free, but Frederick Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romnick Sarigumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Cabanag in the 95th minute of play forced GenSan's goalkeeper Edgar Palugod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
